If you want to create something yourself, you can go a long way with patience and good planning. We will help you most of the way. We are not skilled craftsmen either, and we have achieved our projects with these methods. If you follow the shopping list carefully and obtain the type of tools that are also described in the individual guides, you are already a long way away. But it is important to have the right tools. Of course, there are no guarantees that you will not make mistakes when it comes to "do it yourself projects". For example, you may have a harder type of masonry, which means that you run into unforeseen challenges.
A guide is not a guarantee that you will finish the project. But the probability is high and it is a guarantee that you will learn something and gain greater courage to throw yourself into more building projects. Sometimes you have to start over. But see it as a hobby project and a learning process, where you constantly become more skilled for the next project.

When you buy a guide, you get an overview of the materials you need to purchase for the project. You also get an overview of the hand tools and machines you need for the project. Last but not least, a guide that helps you through the individual steps of the building process.

Most typical materials and tools can be found in regular hardware stores. However, when it comes to traditional old building methods, it is clear that most solutions require you to find old recycled doors yourself or have a local carpenter produce the profile you need for a door portal, for example. It can take some time to find the right recycled materials and the carpenter.
But once the right materials are found, we will help you the rest of the way. There is also a solution for establishing high panels that can be made with common strips, which are available in many hardware stores. This solution is made for those who want to get started right away.

Yes – the images on the website are authentic examples where we have used the guide to create the solutions in real homes. We do not offer a guide that we have not created ourselves.

You can easily create solutions with, for example, high panels in newer houses. The crucial thing is that you think the solution fits into your property or apartment. Ultimately, it is your own decision and a question of taste and comfort. For example, we have created a solution with high panels of approximately 90 cm in height, where a raw New Yorker wall has been created above the panels. The panels are painted in a "dark umber" and therefore have a raw expression that matches the New Yorker wall. A solution like this can be created in many types of villas or apartments and it is not essential that it is in patrician or master bricklayer style.

If you do not understand the guide at first, we recommend that you read the guide through one more time step by step. Then check our FAQ and start over. If it is about using the machines, we recommend that you seek help on how to use the machines via YouTube videos. Alternatively, you can also find help on how to use the machines via chat-GPT. We are a newly started company, so unfortunately we do not yet have the resources for a support function. But we will constantly develop our website and develop more solutions including a support function as customers use our website and our guides.

Yes, it is specifically stated in the individual guides which tools and special tools you need. You should expect to acquire or borrow at least one
miter saw, which will be used for most projects. As you delve into more solutions, such as radiator covers, you will also need to acquire a circular saw with a cutting guide.

For your first project, it is a good idea to either rent or borrow the machines. However, if you succeed with your first project, we recommend that you buy your own special tools. You may find that they are expensive to purchase, but put the investment in perspective. They can be used year after year for countless projects. Since you are not a craftsman, you will not wear them out. We have had some of our machines for 20 years. Good offers are constantly appearing in hardware stores, where, for example, a quality miter saw including table can be purchased for approximately DKK 2000. There are also cheaper versions.

The solution with high panels, which are made using ordinary ordinary moldings, can be adapted to any size in your own home. The solutions that require the reuse of building materials require a little more ingenuity, including obtaining the necessary number of doors. But if, like our examples, you usually only create the effect on one wall, rather than the entire living room, it is relatively easy to find suitable recycled doors. As an example, we have made high panels on an end wall in a dining room, where we managed with only 2 recycled filling doors. Most things are possible. We also have examples where we have found 10 identical filling doors.

We will not refund your money if you do not want to use the guide you received. Since you receive the product digitally immediately after your purchase, it is difficult to check whether the instructions have actually been used and/or copied. At the same time, we have priced our guides at such an affordable level that you have gained knowledge for your money even if you do not complete your building project. But save the guide and take it out again after a few months. Maybe you are ready to get started at a later date.

We have initially launched with these 4 guides. But we will constantly develop our solutions and the number of guides, etc. In the long term, you will be able to buy guides on installing stucco ceilings as well as guides on laying herringbone parquet floors, etc. Your imagination sets no limits to what the website will contain in terms of knowledge about old building methods.
